the right home for you
Making the right choice is essential when selecting a home and there are many factors to consider. What's important is for you to feel at home in comfortable surroundings and to be confident in the professionally structured care. You will have your own spacious room with en-suite facilities and we will do everything possible to make sure you feel happy and relaxed. Often we feel most at ease with our personal belongings around us, so we invite you to bring small items of furniture, ornaments, pictures, photographs and special mementos to make it your home. The team at Cedar Court have much experience in understanding the needs of the residents in our care and on arrival at Cedar Court we will introduce you to our team who will assist you whilst you settle in. You are welcome to hold a house warming tea party in our ‘Tea Cups’ tea room and invite family and friends to see your new home. Cedar Court offers a range of services for long and short stays and we are able to meet your changing needs as they arise, giving you peace of mind.

About the Manager “I trained as a registered general nurse and registered mental health nurse starting 20 years ago in Ireland. I have specialised since then in the care of older people. I have worked in hospitals, community orientated settings and as a community psychiatric nurse in the UK and Ireland. I have worked in my current position since 2004, having earned a promotion to Home Manager. I am passionate about quality care of the elderly and have a particular interest in the rights of vulnerable adults. I have attended many courses including a ‘Clinical Teaching and Assessors’ course. It is my job to ensure the smooth running of Cedar Court and I am dedicated towards the professional development of our team of staff, with this experience we have achieved the highest 3 star excellent care home accolade."
